Their startups are scalable with a strong commercial model for sustainability. Its mission is to build 300 impact driven startups in Africa by 2025.

An entity providing a digital platform to publicize, promote and market small businesses in Kenya. The primary channel is a dedicated website small business or SME focused content for the Kenyan and African market. From those humble beginnings, providing curated content for small business owners, managers and aspiring entrepreneurs. Bizna Kenya also provides enterprise development services to small business owners and managers to equip them with requisite digital skills, attitudes and tools to understand their target audience and provide better services and ultimately, grow their profitability.

Bizna was started in September 2014 to address some of the challenges that small business in Kenya and Africa face. Bizna has a presence in 10 African countries including: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia.

Briter Bridges was founded in October 2018 as a data-driven research firm dedicated to collecting, curating, and visualising information about business and investment across underserved markets, with a specific focus on Africa. After producing some of the largest visual libraries portraying the state of Africa’s innovative ecosystems, Briter launched its own Intelligence platform, which allows real-time tracking, crowdsourcing, and market exploration. 

Briter has now become a point of reference for data and bespoke research for public and private organisations, ranging from the World Bank to European governments, big tech firms and corporates.

BznsBuilder is an Egyptian cloud-based software company headquartered in Egypt. It provides Business Relation Management (BRM) service and also provides enterprise applications focused on business service and tools for business stakeholders for startups, SMEs, incubators, accelerators, and investors. The BRM service comprises several broad categories: business planning, financial automation, pitching, Ecosystem builder, application building, Evaluation automation and scoring, Judges and mentors management, company profile, and more.

BznsBuilder also gives businesses stakeholders tracking abilities for their company cases and the collaboration feature provides analytical tools and other services including building their data room for due diligence and funding purposes. BznsBuilder.com has its services translated into 3 different languages (English, Arabic, and Indonesian) and very soon to French, Spanish and Portuguese and as of January 2023, had 2000 subscribers.

DIV is a tech capacity building institution. It aims at creating an amazing community of African women who are passionate about using tech to revolutionize Africa and beyond.

Diana ry is an international network organisation with headquarters in Turku, Finland and branch chapters in Berlin (Germany) and California, USA Canada, France, Belgium and Spain and National Focal Persons in African countries. Diana ry aims to mobilise the African intellectual diaspora for remote teaching and research collaboration and contact activities with African universities and research organisations. Diana ry has an Entrepreneurial University and Entrepreneurship Cluster (EUEC) composed of experts in the diaspora and Africa to promote the entrepreneurial transformation of African universities, entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystems in Africa.

ElRehla works on building collaborative communities. Their programming involves an unconventional retreat experience bringing together different groups of leaders. They work to support three specific groups: ( Corporate leaders and their teams, Industry stakeholders and decision makers, Founders and incubator/accelerator cycles)

They build these collaborative communities through a unique program that engages the participants mentally, physically and emotionally. Each of the three experiences lead to very unique results for each group.

The German-African Business Association (Afrika-Verein) has been supporting companies in their business activities on the African continent for almost 90 years. It is a non-profit organisation and currently has over 550 members; these are mostly from Germany, but also include European and African companies, institutions, and private individuals. It represents around 85% of German businesses active in Africa – across all sectors, from start-ups to DAX-listed companies.

With its wide network, It promotes communication between German and African representatives from business and government. In Germany, it is the first point of contact for business information and arranging contacts. In addition, the association hosts events in various formats almost every week – from cross-sector business conferences to country-specific business talks – as well as business missions to African target markets.

GIG is the global network of social and tech innovators. It’s an international network and NGO aims to create meaningful connections between innovators and have a positive impact on the policies and frameworks for grassroot innovation. GIG aims to contribute to the creation and use of open, inclusive and sustainable technologies. GIG supports research in the field of innovation and development, digital rights and technology ecosystem questions carried out by local experts and international teams.

GIG is a vibrant, diverse community of innovation hubs, makerspaces, hackerspaces, and other grassroot innovation community spaces and initiatives, as well as individual innovators, makers, technologists, and changemakers. GIG is pursuing a new vision for global cooperation based on equality, openness and sharing. It aims to enable more diversity in the production of technology and global innovation processes, and support open and sustainable solutions.

The GreenTec Capital Africa Foundation (GCAF) is a non-profit organization founded to promote the development of investment in African entrepreneurship with the goal of driving the creation of local economic and social added-value. Rooted in the commitment to foster a successful business environment and economic perspective of the development of African countries, GCAF conducts a variety of support activities. GCAF cooperates closely with impact investors in Germany and Africa, which enables a translation of first-hand experiences in the equity investment sphere into the non-profit capacity building sphere in line with the official development aid principles of the German government. Its activities include knowledge sharing conferences and reports, trainings for companies and investors, market analysis and discussion rounds to foster market transparency, capacity building for business operation to companies and investors in Africa.

Node Eight is a digital innovation hub. Their mission is to empower the young people with digital skills, entrepreneurship support, inclusive space, and an enabling environment they need to build sustainable ventures and be ready for the future of work.

The digital StArfrica Community Platform is the first German-African online innovation ecosystem to interactively connect startups, companies, research institutions, investors and other stakeholders. StArfrica mission is to increase the attractiveness of Germany for African start-ups as well as to sensitize and facilitate the market entry of German start-ups and companies in Africa. The project is currently implemented on a pilot basis in Rwanda and in cooperation with the University of Rwanda (UR) in Kigali. The team is based at the Institute for Scientific Entrepreneurship at the University of Koblenz as well as on-site at the UR in Kigali.  In addition, StArfrica is also running an incubator on the ground in Kigali that will support and push business ideas by young Rwandans in the field of science.

Their vision is to build a community that provides value for startups and SMEs across Africa by building valuable collaborations.
